      Services for James D. Miller, 92 years old, mure held at the Union Star Christian Church Saturday afternoon, March 3, by Rev. J. Cotharp. Mr. Miller was a native of Andrew County and lived in Union Star the last 59 years, prior to moving to St. Joseph last November when his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Bell Miller entered the Missouri Methodist Hospital with a broken hip. Mr. Miller passed away at the borne of his son, A. Roscoe Miller In St. Joseph.

      Besides the wife and son, Mr. Miller is survived by another son, S. E. Miller, West Angeles, California, four grandchildren and four great grand-children. Burial was in Union Star cemetery.
