    • Ed Davison, wife and daughter, Leta, and Jake Stephens attended the funeral service of Mrs. Lula Pickett, which was held at Savannah Saturday afternoon. She died at the Sisters hospital in St. Joseph. She leaves two sons, George and Perry, and one daughter, Mrs. Lavonia Pinnell, and one brother, G. Walton of Hiawatha, Kansas.

    • Ed Davis and family attended the funeral and burial of Mrs. Lulu Pickett, widow of Elya [sic] Pickett, at Savannah Saturday, who died at a hospital in St. Joseph last Friday. Mrs. Pickett was well known by the older citizens here, as she and her husband were at one time proprietors of the hotel.
