A Good Man Has Fallen
E. A. Price died at five o'clock on the evening of the 13th inst. of the residence of his parents in this city, in the fortieth year of his age.
The deceased has been afflicted for some years, with that fell disease, consumption, but he bore his suffering with great patience.
He has spent several years on different steamboats, as Mate; and perhaps there contracted a cold that ripened into consumption. Mr. Price was a model citizen in all the relations of life was respected by all who knew him, and a stricken father, mother, brother and sister, with a large circle of friends, mourn their irreparable loss.
The funeral will take place this afternoon at 1 o'clock, from the M.E. Church, Ohio street, and the friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend without further notice.
