I, Asa Elliott Sr. of Miller County, Missouri, being in feeble health, though of sound and disposing mind and knowin the certainty of death and the uncertainty of life, I make and publish this my last will and testament.

I first of all bequeath my soul to God who gave it and my body to the dust from whence it came.

My desire is that my body be buried in a decent and Christian like manner and that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be first fully paid after which I proceed to the distribution of my worldly goods in the following manner:

I give and bequeath to my son William Elliott the sum One dollar having previously given him his portion of my estate.

I give and bequeath to the heirs of my daughter Polly Coffman the sum of one dollar having formerly given her a full portion of my estate.

I give and bequeath to my two sons Josiah Elliott & Asa Elliott Jr. to have in common and jointly each share and share alike the following described tract or parcel of land situated in the County of Pettis and State of Missouri that is to say the East half and the North West quarter of the South East quarter of Section Six of Township No forty three of Range No. Twenty two containing one hundred and twenty acres: also lot no. One of the South West quarter of Section Six of Township No Forty three of Range No. Twenty two containing eighty acres and the South West quarter of the South East quarter of Section Six in township Forty three of Range No. Twnety two containing forty acres, also the north west quarter of the North West quarter of Section Five in Township No Forty three of Range no twenty two containing forty acres.

I will give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Ann Ivey the sum of two hundred dollars to be paid to her by my Executor.

I will and bequeath to my daughter Nancy Gorman, the sum of one dollar having previously given her a full portion of my estate.

I give and bequeath to my Grand daughter Mary Elizabeth Elliott, daughter of my son Josiah Elliott, the farm upon which I now live together with all the lands belonging thereto being three hundred and sixty acres, also the East half of the East half of the South East quarter of Section Eighteen of Township No. Forty one of Range No. fifteen containing Forty acres: My desire is that my said grand daughter, Mary Elizabeth, have and enjoy the premises hereby bequeathed for the term of fifteen years from the date hereof, after which time I will and bequeath all of said premises to my son Josiah Elliott forever.

My desire is that my personal property be sold and all my just debts be fully paid and the residue if any I will and bequeath to my son Josiah Elliott.

I make constitute and appoint my son Josiah Elliott my lawful Executor to execute this my last will and testament.
