Shelley Cardiel (cardiels@comcast.net): I’ve “rescued” an old photograph of Albert, Les, and Stanley BROWN which was taken at the Partain Studio. There is no location indicated and I had a difficult time finding studio information though I did find mention of a Studio by that name in Parma, ID and also in Center, Indian Territory in what is now Oklahoma. The photograph was recovered in Portland, Oregon if that is a clue at all to its origin. It appears to be from the early 1900’s with the three men likely in their 20’s at the time it was taken. The man identified as “Albert” is also noted as “Dad” on the back of the photograph with reference to a daughter of his named Edna A. BROWN and her son James CONWAY.
I’m hoping to locate someone from this BROWN and CONWAY Family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or you know someone who might be, please contact me.
