      TARKIO, Mo. - Hildred Helms, 92, Tarkio, formerly of Burlington Junction, Mo., died Monday, March 4, 1991, at a health-care center here.

      Born in Maysville, Mo., Mrs. Helms lived most of her life in the Burlington Junction area. She was a homemaker.

      Helms was preceded in death by a daughter and two sons.

      Surviving: a sister, Marguerite Hardy of Burlington Junction; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a great-great-great-grandchild.

      Service: 1 p.m. Thursday, First Christian Church, Burlington Junction. Burial: Ohio Cemetery, Burlington Junction. Family visitation: 7- 8 p.m. today, Barr-Merrick Funeral Home, Burlington Junction.
