Lavina Dolores "Blondie" Acree
Lavina Dolores "Blondie" Acree, 91, of Boise passed away on December 28, 2005 at home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2005 at Cloverdale Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Cloverdale Funeral Home.
Blondie was born on September 21, 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Louis and Annie Myers Stein. She married Robert Acree on March 7, 1946 in Salt Lake City. She traveled as a military wife to many Army bases in the United States as well as in Germany before settling in the Treasure Valley.
She prided herself in being a homemaker and taking care of her family and home. She enjoyed horse racing, bingo and Sees Candy. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.
Survivors include her brother Lynn Stein, of California; daughter, Arlene Roark of Boise; son, Robert Steven Acree and his wife Kathie of Nampa and daughter Anne Eide of Boise; 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert; son, Brent Hilton and grandson Ryan Eide.
