    • Mrs. Susan Spangler Dies in Phoenix

      Mrs. Susan Reynolds Spangler, 88, Phoenix, Ariz., died Sunday night at a hospital at Phoenix.

      She was born Nov. 12, 1887, at Burlington Jct., and had resided in Phoenix since 1955.  Prior to that she had resided in the Skidmore and Burlington Jct. areas. She was married to Clarence Spangler, who preceded her in death.

      Funeral and burial services will be held Wednesday at Phoenix. The body is at the Mercers Funeral Home, Phoenix.

      She is survived by three sons, Dean and Willis Spangler, Phoenix, and Wilbur Spangler, Denver, Colo.; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Britton, Mesa, Ariz., and Mrs. Virginia Hagey, St. Joseph; a brother, Dan Reynolds, Bethany; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
