    • Mrs. Marguerite Pulley

      Memorial services for Mrs. Marguerite Pulley will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Aspen Mortuary, 7895 Morrison Road, Lakewood. 

      Mrs. Pulley, who formerly lived at 701 E. 14th Ave., died Sunday in Villa Manor Nursing Home, Lakewood.  She was 76. 

      Born May 6, 1900, in Maysville, Mo., where she was reared and educated, she was married to Ray Pulley on Feb. 14, 1940.  He died in 1951.  She was formerly employed as a saleslady and an apartment manager. 

      Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gloria Hernandez of Lakewood and two grandchildren.

Mississippi Ave., Lakewood.  Mother of Gloria and John Hernandez, Lakewood; sister-in-law of Gertrude Williams, San Francisco; also survived by two grandchildren, Sandra and Michael Hernandez, two nieces.  Memorial services, 10 a.m. Wednesday, ASPEN FUNERAL SERVICE CHAPEL, 7895 Morrison Rd.  Cremation will follow.

    • Miss Marguerite Williams, Maysville, and Arlo Ray Pulley of Clarksdale were married at a high noon wedding Wednesday at the home of Mrs. 0. G. Gleaves in St. Joseph. The Rev. E. L. Robinson, pastor of the Hundley Memorial Methodist Church, read the service.  The bride wore a blue lace dress with black accessories and a corsage of sweet peas and pink rosebuds.  The couple left immediately after the ceremony on a short wedding trip to Carthage, Mo., and Fort Worth, Texas. Miss Williams is a graduate of the Maysville High School and of Platt-Gard Business College in St. Joseph. The groom was graduated from the Helena High School and also from the business college in St. Joseph.  The couple will reside in Maysville.
