      23 Following Heart Attack

      Carlos Pulley of Clarksdale received word Monday, April 23, of the death of his son, Ray Pulley, at his home in Denver, Colorado, following a heart attack. Mr. Pulley left Monday evening for Denver to attend the funeral and burial. Ray Pulley lived in Maysville several years ago.  His wife is the former Miss Marguerite Williams, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas D. Williams. Besides his wife and father he is survived by one daughter, Gloria, and a sister, Mrs. H. A. Mann, Berkeley, California.

    • Ray Pulley Dead

      Ray Pulley, a former resident of St. Joseph, died Monday in Denver, Colo., according to word received by relatives here Tuesday. Funeral and burial were in Denver. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, and a daughter, Gloria, both living in Denver. His father, Carlos Pulley, lives in Clarksdale, Mo.  Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. H. A. Mann of Berkeley, Calif.; an uncle, A. D. Pulley of Ford City, and three cousins, Col. Lee Pulley and Mrs. Ruth Danbury, both of King City, and Mrs. Marshall Scott of Ford City.

    • THANKSGIVING WEDDING

      Last Thursday, Thanksgiving day, Mr. Arlow Ray Pulley of St. Joseph, Mo., and Miss Mabel Eudora Sealey of King City were married in the parlors of the Wesleyan M. E. Church, St. Joseph, Mo., the Rev. L. L. Smith officiating.  Accompanying the bridal party were intimate friends and relatives.  The party motored to St. Joseph, Thursday Morning, and, after an unusually pretty wedding, were entertained by St. Joseph friends. 

      After the wedding trip of a few days, Mr. and Mrs. Pulley will be at home to their many friends in Helena, Mo.

    • Miss Marguerite Williams, Maysville, and Arlo Ray Pulley of Clarksdale were married at a high noon wedding Wednesday at the home of Mrs. 0. G. Gleaves in St. Joseph. The Rev. E. L. Robinson, pastor of the Hundley Memorial Methodist Church, read the service.  The bride wore a blue lace dress with black accessories and a corsage of sweet peas and pink rosebuds.  The couple left immediately after the ceremony on a short wedding trip to Carthage, Mo., and Fort Worth, Texas. Miss Williams is a graduate of the Maysville High School and of Platt-Gard Business College in St. Joseph. The groom was graduated from the Helena High School and also from the business college in St. Joseph.  The couple will reside in Maysville.
