- MRS. NANCY PULLEY
Nancy Rosanna Russell was born March 30, 1863, at La Crosse, Wis., and died October 11, 1944 at the Bates Memorial Hospital at Bentonville, Ark., at the age of 81 years, 6 months, and 11 days.
She was the daughter of Thomas and Prudence Russell. When she was six years of age, the family moved to Newton county, Mo., At an early age, she professed her faith in Christ and became a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church near Fairview, Mo.
She was united in marriage to Thomas B. Pulley in 1879. To this union five children were born, three daughters and two sons.
She was preceded in death by her husband who died in 1920; a daughter, Hettie, who died in infancy; and a daughter, Mrs. Perry Ledenham, who died in 1940.
She leaves to morn her death, [one] daughter, Mrs. L. R. Smith of Pineville; a son, Clarence Pulley, Pineville, and a son, Earl Pulley of Farson, Wy.
She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Chas. Towbridge of Cottonwood Falls, Kan., and a brother, Matt Russell of Fort Smith, Ark. She leaves 13 grandchildren, 15 great grand children and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at [the] Baptist [Church] at Exeter, Mo. The Rev. Charles Vansandt delivered the funeral sermon. Burial was in the Maplewood cemetery under direction of the Humphrey Funeral home of Pineville.
