      Mrs. Odessa Martin, of Kansas City, Kansas, and Mr. George Kennedy of this place were very quietly married at Independence, last Tuesday afternoon.

      The bride and groom, accompanied by their little daughter of six years of age, arrived home this morning.

      Mrs. Kennedv was a highly esteemed and popular lady of Kansas City where she has made her home for a number of years. 

      Mr. Kennedy is one of our most prominent business men and is identified with an our interests. In behalf of the community the Argus bids them welcome to our city and wish for then a long and happy life.
