The Funeral of The Late Dr. Frank Minor Cooper With Masonic Honors

As was stated in the Democrat-News of Friday the remins of the late Dr. F. Minor Cooper arrived on the 12:25 C&A train Saturday accompanied by Mrs. D. C. Gore, Mrs. Cooper the surviving wife and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Giout, of Omaha, Nebraska, D. L. Cooper the brother who went to Kansas with Mr.s Gore returned to Marshall Friday night.

The funeral party was met by Undertaker Paris Walker, Masons from the A. F. & A. M. lodge and other relatives and friends. The remains were taken immediately to Ridge Park where with Masonic ceremonies they were laid on the Gore lot. F. C. Barnhill conducted the Masonic burial and closed with a prayer and benediction by Dr. W. H. Black. The floral offerings were exquisite and the large quantity of flowers were placed upon the new grave by the Masons.

The pall bearers were W. L. Culver, James A. Walker, C. B. Bacon, Louis Lowenstein, W. F. Lacy and A. J. Keys.
