The Friends of Pennytown Historic Site will host a gathering from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7, at the Pennytown Freewill Baptist Church south of Marshall. The day will feature Moses Berry speaking about his family history and showing artifacts. Entertainment will be provided by Nostalgia. Pennytown is located eight miles southeast of Marshall, with the route off U.S. Highway 65 marked by signs.
