Union Cemetery

Pettis County, Missouri
From Hwy 65, 9 miles north of Sedalia, turn east on J, go 5.5 miles to N. Turn east on N and follow it to the church and cemetery on the left (north). Originally served Baptist and Methodist congregations simultaneously. Cemetery is fenced and attended. (GCW 2004)
Update from Justin Watkins 2010: I took some pictures at this cemetery on 18 July 2009. Genevieve Carter did a transcription of the cemetery, which she provided for the Osage Chapter of the DAR. The DAR published it as part of their Rural Cemeteries of Pettis County series in 1964. The DAR updated the transcription in 1986. George C. Willick recorded this cemetery on 2 June 2004. I visited it and looked for new burials and also all funeral markers on 18 July 2009. I also have obituaries for some of the most recent burials. The list below is based on the pictures I took of the new stones and the funeral markers plus further genealogical research into the Kabler, Farris, Dillard, Landon, Drinkwater, Adams, Ross, and other families buried here that are related to me or married people to whom I am related. Some of the individuals below are listed twice.
