Tuesday night Mr. John Russell died at his residence, on Francis street, near Sixth, of heart disease. The deceased was a native of North Ireland and had lived in America many years. He was about forty-five or fifty years of age, and a miller and millwright by profession. He had lived in Plattsburg, Clinton county, for many years previous to coming to this city, which he did less than a year ago. Besides being a miller and millwright, he was considera… of an inventor, having … a separator which is generally used in many of the mills of this country and Canada. He has been in failing health for some time, but no one was prepared to hear of his dead, which was rather sudden. He leaves a wife and two children to mourn his loss. The funeral took place yesterday from the family residence, on Francis street, to the Catholic cemetery, and was largely attended.
