Your County Coordinator is Kris. I am a volunteer. While I may contribute information to the site, I do not live in DeKalb County and cannot help you with your research there. I maintain the website and manage submissions from other researchers -- like you.

DeKalb County was organized on 25 February 1845 from Clinton County and is named after the American Revolutionary War general Johann de Kalb. Many records were lost in an 1878 courthouse fire.
