      Susan Rebecca Holt, the daughter of Benjamin R. and Sarah Holt, was born on the old homestead five miles northeast of Savannah known as the Cherry Grove Stock Farm, February 14, 1853. This was her home until her marriage to James F. Young March 8, 1877. In March, 1883, she and her husband located on a farm two miles south of Quitman, where she lived continuously until her death September 12, 1933. She is survived by her husband, three sisters, Mrs. Louisa Woodcock of Savannah, Mrs. Alvira Stanton of Falls City, Neb., Mrs. Florence Daily of St. Joseph, ten nephews and eleven nieces.

      Funeral services were conducted at St. Mary's Catholic church in Maryville Thursday at 8 a.m. and burial was at Mt. Mora cemetery.
