He was 78 years old and had lived in St. Joseph four years. He leaves a son and five daughters: A. W. Sutherland, Mrs. Lee Bayne, Misses Maude, Jessie and Alice, all of St. Joseph, and Mrs. J. J. Thomas of Scottish Plains, N. J.
