He resided in this city for a number of years, but of late had turned his attention to farming and stock raising. He was a brother-in-law of Thomas Kenney and also of John Neenan of this city. He was a man of quiet disposition, and had many friends among the old settlers.<\/p>\n<p>The funeral took place on Thursday morning at 10 o&#8217;clock, the interment being in the Catholic cemetery near New Hirlingen.
