Maughmer died at his home in Talihina, Oklahoma, October 3, after a short illness, and the body was brought to Andrew county and placed in the Long Branch cemetery, October 7, after funeral services by Louis Nuckols. <\/p>\n<p>Mr. Maughmer was born in Andrew county, July 20, 1856, and moved three years to Oklahoma.  He was married near Rochester, January 11, 1880, to Miss Betty Shores, whom he leaves with one son and two grandchildren.
