On Tuesday of last week Mr. James Clarady [sic], who lived about four miles West of Bolckow, was killed under the following circumstances. He had started to the woods with his team for a load of railes, was sitting on the front hounds [sic] of the wagon, and driving in a brisk trot, when from some cause or other, the wagon became uncoupled and threw him under his team, which consisted of a pair of wild mules, one of which kicked him in the head and killed him almost instantly.
