Schranck Rites Set
The funeral mass for Mrs. Flora R. Schranck, 90, the wife of Charles J. Schranck, will be said at 10 Tuesday morning at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, of which she was a life member. Monsignor Max J. Pilsi will be the celebrant, and interment will be at Mount Olivet cemetery.

The parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 this evening in the parlors at the H.O. Sidenfaden & Son mortuary. St. Ann’s Altar Society members recited the rosary at 2:00 this afternoon. Mrs. Schranck was the society’s first president, holding that office for several years. She was a devout member of the church and active in all church affairs.

Mrs. Schranck died early Sunday morning at her home, 626 South 17th street. She had lived at that address all her married life, going there as a bride, the home being a wedding present from her husband’s parents. Had Mrs. Schranck lived until June 4 she and Mr. Schranck would have observed their 69th wedding anniversary.

The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Egid Wagner, early St. Joseph residents, Mrs. Schranck belonged to the Third Order of St. Francis, and St. Joseph’s Hospital Guild.

In addition to her husband, survivors include one son, Edwin Schranck, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Charles J. Wilmot, Clayton, Mo.; one brother, B.A. Wagner, St. Joseph; six grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Schranck was preceded in death by a son, Raymond A. Schranck, who died April 18, five years ago. At the time of his death he was an officer of the Empire Trust Co.
