Norris Services
Services for Lee R. Norris, 71, 2620 South 19th street, will be at 2 Tuesday in the parlor at the Rupp mortuary, the Rev. W.E. Purdy officiating. Interment will be at the Judy cemetery, Wallace.

Mr. Norris, a retired carpenter, died Sunday morning at a St. Joseph hospital. Born at Wallace, he was a lifelong resident of Buchanan county. He belonged to Wallace Christian Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. John Chaar, Leavenworth, Kan.; Mrs. Ernest Williams and Mrs. Herbert Thornhill, St. Joseph; Mrs. William Lyons, Gower, Mo., and Mrs. Charles Thornton, Troy, Kan.; six sons, John and Sam Norris, Wallace; Charles Norris, St. Joseph; Robert Norris, living in the state of Oregon; Lee Wesley and Lonnie Milton Norris, Amity, Mo.; one brother, Irvin Norris, St. Joseph; six sisters, Mrs. Lavern Anderson, St. Joseph; Mrs. Cynthia Gardner, Wathena, Kan.; Mrs. Edna Hill, Wallace; Mrs. Laura Vance, Mrs. Emma Taylor and Mrs. Hattie Lacy, all of Alhambra, Cal., and 32 grandchildren.
