She was raised in Jefferson City, MO and graduated from Helias High School. She earned her associate’s degree from CMSU. Son Charged in Death of Mother

WARRENSBURG — Cameron E. Miles, 30, is in custody and is charged with second-degree murder after Warrensburg police officers responded about 11:17 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, to the report of a possible heart attack in the 200 block of West Sparks Street. A joint press release from prosecutor Rob Russell and Warrensburg Police Chief Rick Lockhart sent out Monday afternoon said that upon arrival, officers located Karen Miles, 59, dead inside the house.
