Mrs. John J. Sweeney of Easton Dies of Burns

Mrs. Treas [sic] W. Sweeney, 82, died yesterday as a result of burns she received when paper on a stove at her home caught fire about three weeks ago. Born at Easton, Mo., Mrs. Sweeney was a lifelong resident of Buchanan county. She made her home on route 2 at Easton. Surviving are her husband, John J. Sweeney of the home; a son, Francis Sweeney, also of the home, and numerous nieces and nephews . . .
