Died, last night at 9:15, Sarah, aged 51 years, wife of Judge Bernard Patton, at her late residence, corner of Eleventh and Mesannie streets. Mrs. Patton was born in Queen's country, Ireland, and when quite young came to this country. On the 17th of November, 1859, in this city, she was married to Bernard Patton. She left beside her husband one daughter, Mary, and a large circle of friends to mourn her loss. The deceased had been lingering for a long time with a complication of diseases, but with a truly wifely, motherly and Christian devotion she bore her misfortune bravely, expressing no fear of death, and being prepared to meet her Saviour. The funeral will take place from the Cathedral on Friday, the time being noted later.
