Directions: Directions: From Savannah, west on State Rout e T 4 miles to St. John's Church and cemetery, on west sid e of road.

Note: Burial place of many Swiss immigrants, this cemeter y was originally connected with the German Reformed denomin ation, later the Church of Christ.

Translation notes: "Geb." means "born," and "Gest." means " died." Many of the women's maiden names are given after "Ge b." "Hier Ruht" is the equivilent of "Here lies" or "Here r ests."
